Women's Equal Rights

This is paragraph reserved for all the woman in the world who take upon themselves the responsibility of defending their gendre's rights..
Go ahead.. Comment.. Make my day..
What's Woman's Rights to you.. And does what you think it is really make you feel equal..
Respect is the key word: male / female equally.. But that's me..
N.B: chivalry rules are essentially brought up by the respect factor.. (check out Sunshine's blog on http://jordansunshinedodson.blogspot.com/ for more details)
(To all the guys out there: please back me up..)

Hey there,
Well I'm so happy to see all of those comments already taking place in my blog spot..
However I prefer to wait untill tomorrow (Monday) night to post my comment about women's rights in my perspective, for I've been promissed by a few friends to get their own comments by today.. So let's be a bit patient and you shall have my conclusion..
In the meantime, Here's another story similar to the one Weesam mentioned..
Most women and men I know do not trust any female doctors when it comes to complex operations and this somehow amazes me.. The idea that a woman is still a week being and cannot act in extreme measures (such as being under pressure of executing an operation succesfully) is still binding lots of the activities she's allowed to perform, no matter how much effort she's put in to her profession..
Think about it and watch yourselves, you reactions to such a case, and most importantly the reactions of the elder generations.. And get back to me..
What do you think about such a case?
Ciaos..

I hope I read the right article..but if it's the one based on European women getting offended by chivalrous acts then here it goes:
I think it's ridiculous for women to frown upon chivalry...from what I've seen we need more of it!
A woman knows her rights as a human being - if she feels she is not being treated well she should object, and if that doesn't work then try to move to a different country... all in all I strongly believe it is in the woman's hands how she is treated be others.

hey omar,

"women's rights" is passé, the new expression which is more á la mode, is "women's empowerment",

enjoy the the old-fashioned debate
